What causes morning sickness?

From 6-12 weeks, your body produces extra hormones, which can cause nausea and vomiting. It's often called morning sickness but can happen anytime. The extra hormones can also make you emotional. Some women experience no nausea, others feel wretched for nine months. Many find the nausea lifts after three or four months.
