Families Commission welcomes new Chief Commissioner

The Families Commission welcomes the appointment of respected researcher Carl Davidson as the new Chief Commissioner.

“I would like to congratulate Minister Bennett on sourcing an outstanding candidate for the role of Chief Commissioner,” says Bruce Pilbrow, Acting Chief Commissioner.

“On behalf of the Board and staff, I would like to welcome Carl to the Families Commission. I have thoroughly enjoyed my caretaker role as Chief Commissioner and look forward to continuing my contribution under Carl’s leadership.

“Carl has an extensive research background that will strengthen the Commission’s ability to provide independent research that can assist the Government in developing policies and services for the interests of New Zealand families,” says Mr Pilbrow.
