The Families Commission applauds the approach taken in the Bill, which treats the family as a unit for taxation purposes, and should have the effect of decreasing taxation for some families.
Our submission to Productivity Commission shows that if families are to achieve the best possible outcomes, they need access to affordable and adequate housing.
