Staff

The Chief Executive, Paul Curry, is appointed by the Board. He is responsible for the operational management of the Commission.

The four operational groups of the Commission are:

Policy and Research Group

The Policy and Research group is responsible for the Commission’s policy and research activities. Research projects are undertaken collaboratively with the Engagement group and other external research partners. The group is led by Group Manager, Jo Cribb.

Engagement Group

The Engagement group is responsible for engagement with families directly, and with those organisations and groups that work with and support families. This includes the co-ordination of public consultation exercises, leading engagement projects identifying effective innovative practice, and supporting advocacy by the Commission. The group is led by Group Manager Engagement, Charlie Moore.

Communications Group

The Communications Group is responsible for internal and external communications, including media management, production of all print and online publications and website management and coordination of the Commission’s public awareness and information activities. The group is led by Group Manager Communications and Public Awareness, Steve Attwood.

Corporate Support Group

The Corporate Support group is responsible for managing the Commission’s activities relating to strategic planning, accountability reporting, financial management, human resources, IT systems, operational policies and general administration. The group is led by Group Manager Corporate Services, Diane Imus.
